Designer Magali Vieira Alta Costura does wedding dresses in Brazil. She was excellent to work with! We looked at all of the styles that I liked and figured out the style I wanted, she bought the lace and she made it for me.
I asked for her to make it lighter-structured so it wouldn't be very heavy and make me sweat as I was getting married on the beach: Unfortunately, she could only make it as she traditionally does and that was too heavy and wouldn't work for the location or time of the year that I was tying the knot. So this is a NEW dress, I didn't get to wear it, despite it being gorgeous and perfect in every way except being too heavy. I'm sure someone will love this beautiful one-of-a-kind for their special day!
This dress is for a size 8-10 US with buttons in the back over a zipper. The lace is delicate and there is a bra structure to avoid using a bra (I was 36B). The back is just slightly longer than the front for a short train. It is more of an A-line dress because I have wide-ish hips and it hugs to the bodice and hips, then flows out. The top has lace shoulders that leave an open-style back.
